Negative Self-talk
NEGATIVE self-talk & LACK of CONFIDENCE (I’ve been there too..)
I struggled with my finding my confidence and had a negative self-talk dialogue. I didn’t feel comfortable wearing a bikini or crop top for the longest time. I wore my first bikini maybe 2 years ago and finally felt proud enough to take a photo.
It’s hard when you are constantly comparing yourself to others to try to look or be like them. You lose sight of who you are and are trying so hard to remember when your self-esteem was going downhill.
I took these 3 steps to overcome my struggle:
Triggers - I dug deep into my past to figure why I might be lacking self-love, confidence, and talking poorly to myself. Once I figured out what they were and how these triggers were holding me back - I was able to progress forward.
Excuses - I dropped all the excuses like “I am this way”, “I have food allergies causing me to look like this” etc.
Action - Once I figured out what my triggers were, dropped the excuses - it was time to take action!
