How to Read a Nutrition Label:
1. Pay attention to the serving size and how many servings there are.
2. The number of servings you consume determines the amount of calories you consumed.
3. Eating too much fat (saturated fat, trans fat, sodium etc.) can increase your risk for chronic diseases.
4. Get enough of the highlighted green nutrients to maintain your health.
5. A 5% DV is considered low and 20 or more % DV is high so always check the percentages beside the nutrients
For example:
Sodium 470 mg 20%
That means the sodium content is way too high.
