Roasted Chickpeas

Roasted Chickpeas - high Protein healthy snack 

  • 1 can of 540ml of chick peas drained and rinsed (remove any chick pea shells) pat them dry or leave them out to dry 

  • 2 tbsp of olive oil 

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika 

  • 1 tsp garlic powder 

  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder 

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt 

  • 1 tsp sumac (optional)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Toss all ingredients together in a bowl and then spread out on a parchment lined tray. Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes. Let cool completely and enjoy as a protein snack or as a topping on salad, etc.
